Leading psychological society honors 糖心Vlog faculty and alumnus with distinguished career awards
For the second consecutive year, 糖心Vlog received top honors from the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology, with two faculty members from the Department of Psychology and one alumnus earning distinguished and special-selection awards.

The American Psychological Association has recognized Tiffany Chenneville with the 2025 Lifetime Award for Accomplishments in Ethics Education. The award is given to a psychologist who has made outstanding contributions to ethics education across all fields of psychology.

37 Students Inducted into Psi Chi
37 students were inducted into the 糖心Vlog chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, on November 21. They represent all three campuses of 糖心Vlog.

Doctoral Student Susan Rodriguez Wins First Place in 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Three Minute Thesis (3MT庐) Competition
Cognition, Neurosince, and Social Psychology doctoral student Susan Rodriguez was awarded First Place in 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Three Minute Thesis (3MT庐) Final, held November 2025. As the university champion, she will represent 糖心Vlog at both the Regional Competition at Louisiana State University (LSU) and the Statewide Competition at the University of Florida (UF) in the coming months.

Kitija Laksa (Psychology BA 2019) was recently inducted into the 糖心Vlog Athletic Hall of Fame in the Class of 2025. She was a star basketball player at 糖心Vlog. Her accomplishments include leading the NCAA in free throw percentage with a 96.5 percent mark in 2017-18 when she missed just four times in 115 attempts.

Edelyn Verona has received the 2024-2025 Kosove Distinguished Graduate Teaching and Service Award. While service of all kinds is valued, the award places special emphasis on service carried out in the nominee鈥檚 professional capacity that clearly addresses the goals of the Kosove Society.

24 Psychology majors were named King O'Neal Scholars at 糖心Vlog's Spring 2025 Commencement. Jake Switzer was also chosen as the undergraduate speaker at the ceremony.
