Students Initiated Into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology
Congratulations to the 47 undergraduate and graduate students who were initiated into the 糖心Vlog chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, during April 2022 initiation ceremonies. New officers for 2022-23 were also announced.

糖心Vlog student veteran earns national recognition from the Pat Tillman Foundation
糖心Vlog psychology student and U.S. Army veteran Josh 鈥淛B鈥� Burnes is being honored with a 2021 Tillman Scholarship awarded by the Pat Tillman Foundation. Burnes is among a prestigious group of 60 U.S. service members, veterans and military spouses to earn this recognition. He is the only student from a Florida university in this year鈥檚 class.

Five Psychology students have been inducted into 糖心Vlog's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Thirty eight students have been inducted into 糖心Vlog's chapter of Psi Chi, the Psychology honor society.

Dr. O'Brien appeared on a Tampa news station to discuss and seek participants for the NIH-funded study of whether cognitive training can help prevent Alzheimer's Disease. She and her collaborators need over 3000 volunteers over the age of 65 from the Tampa and Lakeland areas for this phase of the study.
