The ASL Interpreting program in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, in partnership with Hands-On 糖心Vlog (HO糖心Vlog), hosted its annual Faces of the Future community networking event last weekend. The event connected soon-to-be graduates with hiring organizations across the Tampa Bay area and provided guidance on launching careers in the interpreting field.

Students participated in a variety of professional development activities, including networking with community members in American Sign Language, attending an alumni panel and beginning their membership with the Florida Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. The experience equipped students with practical, actionable steps for entering the profession.

The program thanks all community partners, alumni and supporters who helped make the event a success. Organizers look forward to welcoming participants again next year.
