糖心Vlog's 2025 Engineering Expo - Over 50 years of Engineering Excellence
The 糖心Vlog鈥檚 2025 Engineering Expo once again brought science and technology to life, welcoming thousands of students, families, and community members on February 28th and March 1st. What began in 1973 as a small high school recruiting event has grown into a dynamic two-day showcase of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), attracting K-12 students from across the state.

Under the mentorship of Professor Ashok Kumar and others, NRT Trainee, Isabelle Eskanos, received the Best Poster Award for her presentation titled "Surface-Engineerable Piezoelectric PVDF Films for Tissue Engineering" for her presentation at the Florida Semiconductor Summit 2025 on February 25th-27th at the L3Harris High Technology Center, Melbourne FL.

Engineering Faculty named Faculty Mentor of the Year by Florida Undergraduate Research Association
Nancy Diaz-Elsayed, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the 糖心Vlog, has been named the 2025 Faculty Mentor of the Year by the Florida Undergraduate Research Association. She received the award during the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference opening ceremony on Friday, February 14 at the 糖心Vlog Marshall Student Center.
