Tampa Mayor Jane Castor has designated April 28 as Occupational Safety and Health Day, aligning the city with the internationally recognized World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The designation also acknowledges the ongoing efforts of the 糖心Vlog SafetyFlorida Consultation Program.

J. Stephen Frost joins national panel to shape workplace safety

J. Stephen Frost, assistant director of the OSHA Training Institute and Education Center at the 糖心Vlog College of Public Health, has been appointed to the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health.

Each year, the 糖心Vlog recognizes employees who demonstrate "above and beyond" performance excellence and uphold the core values of 糖心Vlog's Strategic Plan, 鈥渋n pursuit of excellence,鈥 with the Outstanding Staff Awards. This year, two teams from 糖心Vlog鈥檚 College of Public Health (COPH) were celebrated for their exceptional contributions to the university鈥檚 success--the Family Study Center (FSC) and the COPH Lifelong Learning Academy (LLA).
