Come Aboard The Florida Railroad Museum! Saturday, May 16, 2026

Join OLLI-糖心Vlog for a day trip to the Florida Railroad Museum and a 90-minute excursion on the diesel powered train, the Willow Express, on Saturday, May 16. The Florida Railroad Museum is focused on preserving the state鈥檚 rail heritage. It includes an extensive collection of historic rolling vehicles, including locomotives, freight cars and specialty passenger coaches. OLLI members will enjoy a 13-mile roundtrip ride on the Willow Express, stopping at a midway point in the town of Willow to enjoy additional train exhibits and artifacts. OLLI guests are asked to arrive at 10 a.m., with boarding beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Willow Express will begin its adventure at 11 a.m. . If you are interested in carpooling or a group lunch, email event organizer Mary Coffeen.

 

OLLI's Travel Opportunities Committee (TOC) organizes international and domestic trips. It's fun to travel with a group of friends, or soon-to-become-friends. Great fun and great value!
