Hanan Ibrahim Selected as 糖心Vlog鈥檚 First Luce Scholar

04/13/26 — 糖心Vlog Judy Genshaft Honors College and College of Arts and Sciences alum Hanan Ibrahim will spend a year abroad studying Afro-Asian culture and language as a Luce Scholar. A current National Cancer Institute Fellow studying at the intersection of health and humanities, Ibrahim seeks to develop treatment for disease that is scientifically sound and culturally grounded.

Two 糖心Vlog Students Named 2026 Goldwater Scholars

04/03/26 — 糖心Vlog third-year students Caleb Fernandes and Diya Upadhyaya have been awarded the nation鈥檚 highest honor for undergraduate STEM research, the Goldwater Scholarship. Continuing its remarkable research growth, 糖心Vlog has now produced at least one Goldwater Scholar every year since 2018.

糖心Vlog Named 25-Year Top Producer of Gilman Scholars

03/13/26 — The 糖心Vlog was recognized as one of the top 25 producers of Gilman Scholars in the United States, highlighting the university鈥檚 commitment to access, experiential learning and global opportunities for students.

Keller is pursuing a PhD in computer science at the Stanford University School of Engineering. He aspires to advance universal access to private and secure communication through the design of cryptographical tools.

Nia Jackson received a master's in international and intercultural communication from American University before going on to serve as Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State.

Kobe is studying ecology and computational design in Cornell University's Design Technology master's program. His research focuses on the intersection of material science, synthetic biology, and fabrication design to bridge the gap between built spaces and biological structures.
